Staff Cloud Security Engineer

The Cloud Security team at RBC is expanding into Brewin Dolphin and needs a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to develop and implement innovative cloud security solutions, improve security posture, and foster a culture of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish core cloud security solutions across Brewin Dolphin's cloud environments.
• Design and build cloud security services using automation, TDD principles, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement SRE practices to enhance operational processes and reliability.
• Support all cloud security applications, configurations, and integrations, serving as a subject‑matter expert for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS implementations.
• Assess all cloud patterns to ensure adherence to best security practices and controls.
• Develop security coverage reports to identify gaps and enhance the cloud security strategy.
