Our client, an impactful non-profit, is in need for a temp-to-hire Staff Accountant to join their team! As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with assisting in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the General Ledger. While focusing on reconciliations, this role will be working closely with the Payroll department to ensure PTO Accruals, and benefits reconciliation. Ideally looking for candidates with strong attention to detail, who are open to helping where needed as this is a growing non-profit in the South west Tucson area.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date
