Our client, located in Mississauga, is a public accounting firm looking for an experienced Accountant in the non‑assurance space to join their team! Reporting directly to the Managers and Senior Managers, the Staff Accountant tasks will follow:

Responsibilities

• Review and preparation of NTRs/compilation engagements
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of tax returns for both corporate and personal
• Support with investment working files
• Other ad‑hoc duties are required

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience
• Very strong tax and investment knowledge and experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Self‑motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
