Reporting directly to Test Engineering Manager Responsible for designing and engineering tooling protocols for molds, jigs and fixtures as required to meet products specifications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design and engineer moderately complex tooling protocols for molds, jigs, and fixtures as per product specifications.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluation.
- Implement cost effective tool design changes.
- Collaborate with other team members to qualification, sampling, and final part approval.
