Overview
The Business Development category is responsible for generating new business and for initiating and managing business development initiatives.
The tasks for this role will include most of the following:
- Establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
- Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
- Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities
- Devising plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
