Sr R&D/Product Dvl Engineer

**What your background should look like**- Have a BA/BS degree or higher in mechanical engineering, from an accredited college or university- 5+ years of mechanical engineering product development experience (or relevant work experience)- Engineering experience in connector industry is strongly preferred.
- Participation in full product development cycle from establishing customer requirements to production release.
- Ability in geometric dimensions and tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Detailed understanding of manufacturing processes including stamping, molding, plating, and assembly.
- Design for manufacturing (DFM) to address customer requirements including mechanical, environmental, electrical, manufacturing, and cost.
- Strong interpersonal communication and cross functional teamwork skills.
