Oversees and/or performs quality activities for a customer(s), a process/cell or work unit, or a commodity or set of suppliers.
Direct impact to customer satisfaction, product quality and Cost of Poor Quality.
Depending on role, will have direct & frequent customer contact, supplier contact and/or internal cross-functional impact.
- Responsible of quick kaizen, Kaizen events & knowledge sharing to ensure Continuous Improvement throughout the process
- Insures Customer Specific Requirements are achieved at plant level, when applicable
- Successful interface with the Customer Representative (i.e., SQE, STA) during customer audits or visits.
- Responds quickly and effectively to customer issues and requests.
- Track & report key customer quality metrics (i.e. PPM, 8D/CAR response) keeping internal data aligned with the customer's view.
