Sr Manager, Materials Planning

This position coordinates and manages the Planning Department and associated Planners and / or BOM Specialists. Provides training and monitors planning activities and metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and implements the company's production control functions including any of the following activities: production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting.
• Ensure that S&OE and S&OP are sustained at the intended maturity level with adherence to the relevant weekly and monthly processes.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function..
• Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel.
• Coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems.
