Sr. Field Techs - MV Cable Termination/Splicer are expected to perform installations, splicing, termination service, test and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Test and inspect low and medium voltage and high voltages 69KV and above cable installations, terminations, splicing on various OEM cables.Experience with live front stress cones, 600-amp dead breaks, 200-amp load breaks, inline splices, 2-way dead break splices, Pfisterer Connex high voltages 35KV and above experience is preferred. Cable fault locating and repair is preferred.Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and/ or high voltage (to 500kV) electrical systems.Low, Medium and/ or High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testingPerform inspection, maintenance, ...
