What you'll do
BC Hydro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineer to join our Energy Planning department. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of BC's electricity system by advancing work on our resource options inventory, and supporting work on Load Resource Balance analyses. The successful candidate will also act as a key liaison between Energy Planning and Transmission Planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Transmission Planning to identify and assess transmission resource options for long-term system planning.
- Work with external researchers and consultants to develop techno-economic assessments of a range of demand and supply-side resource options.
