Sr. Engineer, AI & System Engineering (Toronto)

Job Responsibilities

Define and develop AI tools for system engineering processes. Understand internal customers' needs to properly utilize AI to optimize system engineering processes. Create specifications and test scenarios for developed AI features. Support R&D project team engineers and researchers with technical evaluation of technologies. Conduct scientific deep dives, application analysis, manufacturability, market, and cost factors associated with evaluated technologies. Plan, execute, and coordinate R&D programs with internal and external R&D departments, suppliers, institutions, and academia. Evaluate technologies for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements. Support development of creative components from concept through validation, prototyping, testing, and business case evaluation.
