Your role
The Senior manufacturing Engineer applies experience, training and acquired engineering techniques to tackle problems encountered in design, redesign or troubleshooting. This role is fully focused on sustaining projects from beginning to end. Experience in materials and design changes, validations, as well as line balancing is needed to be successful in this role.
What you’ll be doing
- Supports and/or provides technical and safety guidance or mentoring to colleagues, technicians, designers, drafters, model makers and others. May serve as project leader.
- Meet with external customers and suppliers to exchange information and help with more difficult technical problems.
- Participate in project planning and may lead portions of large projects to include scheduling, supervising costs, resources, workforce load, etc.
