Sr Director, Module Development (PSG)

The Senior Director of Module Development will work closely with customers and cross-functionally with all engineering and product management teams while ensuring complete alignment with the manufacturing teams. This role demands a deep understanding of module development using power discretes, material science, packaging architectures, electromechanical and thermal modeling, simulation and design for manufacturing. This leader will work closely with the technical leadership in onsemi’s Business Groups to create technology and module roadmaps supporting power system product roadmaps.

Business performance mandates a leader capable of driving down cost while meeting technical product requirements. Cost optimization is essential where this leader will perform tradeoffs during the design cycle, across material selection, process flow and backend assembly.
