Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Sr Buyer.
**What you'll do**:Procurement of various goods and services in order to meet plant goals of OTD, DOH, Productivity and Schedule attaintment**Job Responsibilities and authority**:- Maintain communication and updates with internal customers regarding material availability and risks- Follow up with Sourcing team in cost out projects- Communicate and coordinate with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams to ensure schedule attainment and recovery if required- Root cause analysis of materials delays and implement improvement actions for Suppliers OTD- Planning and ordering the necessary materials following ERP system- Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly.
- Expedite overdue materials to prevent the lack of raw material- Escalations using plant tools such us GPS (shortages) and SPIR (price changes)- Have direct communication with suppliers regarding material...
