Responsible for logistics procurement, ensuring that Vertiv is competitive in the market, with best prices, conditions, and quality, by negotiating with current suppliers and developing new ones.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure the best conditions to Vertiv.
- Handle high level of complexity and impact negotiations.
- Responsible for procurement for Latin America region.
- Develop new suppliers locally and internationally, based on Procurement, Quality and EHS premises.
- Manage supplier performance and act on action plans to recover performance when needed.
- Formalize and sign agreements with suppliers to mitigate legal risks to the company.
- Follow-up with market trend, analyzing data regarding commodity prices, inflation, and other market indicators to guide the procurement negotiation.
