Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Buyer.
What You’ll Do
This position leads the group of buyers that procure Direct and Indirect material and services (MRO). The Sr Buyer is responsible for procuring direct material in a timely and optimal manner to achieve established targets such as DOH (Days on Hand), logistics costs and on‑time delivery, while complying with Mexican and International Laws and Eaton’s policies. The role defines the optimal purchasing process considering factors like delivery schedules, lot sizes, material handling, and collaborates with Warehouse, Supplier, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Sourcing, and related areas. The Sr Buyer monitors supplier performance and works with related parties when deviations are observed. This position also works closely with the Sourcing team to add new suppliers or improve actions with existing ones.
