Jabil Lead Automation Design Engineer
Lead the design and execution of automation engineering projects in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or software application to meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design automation equipment and oversee the design effort for a team of automation engineers.
- Review, approve, and maintain design drawings, user manuals, and installation manuals.
- Work closely with the Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure design for manufacturability and that all engineering times are logged and tracked.
- Act as liaison with internal and external assemblers/manufacturers to guarantee parts are produced to specifications.
