Job Description

Building complex optical and electronic systems and providing technical support to the engineering team as needed. Experience with free space optical setups including building setups from scratch, 6‑axis system alignment and optical performance assessment with opto-electronic equipment. Expertise in opto‑mechanical and opto‑electrical systems will contribute to the success of projects and ensure reliability and functionality of products. The role impacts development and improvement of systems, ensuring performance and functionality meet the highest standards.

Reports directly to a Sr Engineering Manager and works out of Cambridge, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute build and test of opto‑mechanical and opto‑electrical systems based on drawings and procedural documentation. Includes both lab‑based systems and customer deliverable hardware.
