Speech Language Pathologist

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conducts bedside swallowing evaluations and provides safe feeding and nutrition management plans, particularly for post-stroke, post-surgical, and critically ill patients.
• Designs, implements, and monitors individualized therapy programs, documenting progress, and outcomes in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Educates and trains patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies to support recovery and daily function.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and the rehabilitation team in case discussions, ward rounds, and discharge planning to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
