Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of professional practice, allied health, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing a wide range of communication disorders in the adult population, including adult inpatients. Working as a member of the Speech Language Pathology Division in our dynamic interdisciplinary team setting, you will oversee the assessment and management of adult dysphagia and communication disorders in the acute care and rehab populations. You will be responsible for the management of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Following assessment, you will interpret diagnostic information to plan, organize, and implement treatment programs.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Eligibility for registration with CASLPO.
- Current BCLS.
- Current (2 year) speech pathology experience in a multidisciplinary health services environment.
