The Specification Sales Engineer is Carel’s technical and commercial reference point for key players in the commercial and industrial refrigeration market across Spain and Portugal. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the primary objective is to ensure Carel solutions are specified in projects before purchasing decisions are made, generating qualified demand and strengthening the brand’s position in the Iberian market.
Key Responsibilities
Specification & Business Development
Identify and visit engineering firms, consultancies, design studios and end-users to ensure Carel solutions are included in their technical specifications.
- Accompany projects from the design phase through to commissioning.
- Coordinate follow-up on generated opportunities through to deal closure.
- Present Carel’s technical solutions (e.g. controllers, electronic expansion valves, supervision platforms) to installers, distributors and end-users.
