Responsibilities

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Specialized Mental Health and Substance Use Liaison performs intake assessment, offers crisis intervention, and provides input into the care of patients experiencing difficulties with mental health and/or substance use concerns in the Emergency Department, Acute Care and community.
