Specialist, Licensing & Community Relations (18‑Month Contract)

BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. (BWXT NEC) is seeking a Specialist to support the BWXT Commercial Operations Communications & Government Relations department. The successful candidate will work in Peterborough, ON and focus on developing, maintaining and supporting initiatives outlined in each licensed company’s Public Information & Disclosure Programs for BWXT NEC and BWXT Medical Ltd.

Our Role

The Specialist reports to the Vice President, Brand & Communications and will handle internal and external communications and events, stakeholder outreach, community engagement, and regulatory support.

Your Day to Day

• Support site‑specific communications (e‑mail, portal and electronic bulletin board) for BWXT NEC and BWXT Medical.
• Participate on the Indigenous Relations Committee and support BWXT’s Indigenous Relations Roadmap and PAIR certification.
