We are seeking a Specialist Engineer, Mine Planning to join our Long‑term Mine Planning Team. This is a permanent position.

As the Specialist Engineer, Mine Planning, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Underground Life of Mine (LOM) plans, ensuring the efficient and sustainable extraction of base metals. You will oversee the creation of detailed LOM plans, incorporating geological, geotechnical, and economic data, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including geology, geotech, operations, metallurgy, and environmental departments—to optimize mine design and production schedules. You will conduct regular reviews and updates of LOM plans to reflect changing conditions and new data, utilize advanced mining software and tools to model and simulate mining scenarios, provide expert technical support, and mentor junior engineers and other team members.
