Responsibilities

• As a Specialist, Data Engineer, you’ll design, build and maintain data systems using the Microsoft Fabric platform, including creating and managing data using a lakehouse, designing pipelines to copy data into the lakehouse, and using Spark job definitions for batch and streaming jobs.
• Work with tools such as Azure Data Factory, PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL and Python to implement scalable data pipelines covering data ingestion, transformation and loading processes.
• Analyze and reconcile billing, subscription, and usage data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and root causes of over- or under-billing; support the definition of durable business rules to prevent recurring discrepancies.
