About the job Specialist: Actuarial Analyst
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1 - 2 years experience in a similar environment
- Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas (NQF Level 07) in Mathematical Sciences
Responsibilities:
- Conduct life actuarial valuations, including experience investigations, assumption setting, prudential and IFRS reserving and reporting, scenario testing and forecasting, analyses of surplus, and value-of-new-business calculations
- Streamline and enhance various processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Present insights to management and the broader business, actively participating in discussions to facilitate the execution of the business strategy
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the Company to develop solutions that add significant business value
- Assist in improving governance and control within the Actuarial and Risk departments
