Your Role at Baxter
The Specialist Production Planning primary function is to build and load forecast to the MRP to balance demand and supply at the aggregate volumes level with the detail mix level.
Also plans and executes materials, capacity, and finished goods inventory levels across multiple Value Streams to assure OTD on target.
Functions as the liaison between corporate supply chain functional areas and the Value Stream's planner/buyers.
Assures timely and effective communication signal to the supplier base, to assure supplier's targeted quality, service and delivery levels.
Executes the Master Production Schedule and leads Supply Chain LEAN projects through multiple Value Streams.
In addition, this role could be responsible for tool crib operation, MRO sourcing and acts as the liaison for the site with the corporate strategic sourcing organization.
