ProStaffSelect are is search of a SKILLED and talented SOUS CHEF for this very fast paced trending 90-seater restaurant in the heart of Franschhoek. This SOUS CHEF position is ideally suited to candidates with previous fine dining experience as this cuisine style is described as uniquely FRESH, CONTEMPORARY, STYLISTIC and ORGANIC. The ideal candidate will lead, organise and direct the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency before, during and after service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 or 3 year recognized professional/classical/formal culinary qualification
  • At least 3 - 4 years previous experience within Fine Dining high-volume Environments
  • Culinary strengths in Hot, Cold AND Pastry Kitchen
  • Must be comfortable to network with suppliers and negotiate special pricing
  • Effective communication skills and proficient in English with an outgoing personality
  • Strengths in delegating and leading the team of 11 chefs
