Sourcing Specialist (Tijuana)

Sourcing SpecialistResponsibilities:Procures supplies, materials, services, tooling, and equipment for delivery at specified time or location.Places and updates purchase orders for NPI launches, manages delivery of products, and ensures timely delivery to eliminate potential for backorders and stockouts.Works with the PMO team to update schedule on deliveries to ensure launch timelines can be achieved.Collaborates with the Sourcing specialist on capacity planning and equipment requirements.Manages any subcontracting process.Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the fulfillment cycle.Advises the team of any actual or potential material shortages.Works with Sourcing and Engineering to resolve any potential issue that may impact launch dates.Ensures suppliers have complete product information to meet product quality standards and deliveries for production and assists with the PPAP process.Monitors performance of buyer KPIs and develops/executes improvement ac...
