DESCRIPTION
Our Outbound (OB) Manager in a Sorting Center is responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives;
The Site Leader oversees all aspects of operations and functions at the site;
Key responsibilities include managing and leading a team of sub-area managers; coaching and mentoring them to meet performance objectives; fostering positive employee relations; and developing leadership talent within the Sorting Center;
Additionally, the role ensures effective stakeholder management across Delivery Stations, Fulfillment Centers, Safety, Loss Prevention, and Middle Mile teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the SC to meet and exceed business plan;
