We are seeking a skilled Sole Engineer for a 35m Swan performance sailing yacht based in Spain, primarily operating in the Mediterranean.
This permanent position involves managing daily engineering responsibilities, overseeing the maintenance of a Scania main engine and two Northern Lights generators, and engaging in larger technical projects, especially during an upcoming substantial refit in Palma this winter.
The yacht will cruise through to Greece, Italy and France this summer with a mix of family style trips and charter use.
The ideal candidate
- Will possess strong mechanical knowledge and proven experience on sailing yachts,
- Hold a AEC1/2 Certificates
- Candidates coming from a mechanical background before yachting are highly sought after
- Willingness to participate in guest operations and assist in all areas
