Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Install and configure proprietary software and databases at new customer sites
- Maintain and upgrade existing deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues logged via the support desk
- Provide guidance to field technicians
- Diagnose communication problems involving TCP/IP and serial devices
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts for troubleshooting, upgrades, and reporting
- Deliver technical training to internal teams and customers
- Assist with server maintenance and support
Operational & Business
- Manage support tickets within agreed turnaround times
- Provide regular progress updates to customers
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately
- Complete weekly timesheets and administrative reports
- Travel to customer sites when remote resolution isn’t possible
