What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Be a coach, mentor, support system, and leader for a Spain-based, distributed, and diverse development team.
• You will grow, manage, and inspire the team by hiring new engineers and providing the mentoring and training platforms they need to succeed.
• You will create career plans for both junior and senior engineers.
• Develop and track key metrics for team performance.
• You will ensure the team has a clear understanding of the direction of the product and the reasoning behind high‑level decisions.
• You will be key in RTI’s cultural evolution, working with other Engineering Managers and leaders to define and evolve the 1RTI culture of our engineering organization.
• Project Management (30%): You are responsible for the success of specific R&D, GPP projects (involving products such as Connext Professional, Connext AI, or others).
