Software Engineer, CDA

GovTech's HealthCare-Tech division is looking for a Software Engineer to join a cross-functional agile team supporting the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) and Singapore's broader public healthcare sector. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems that address real public health challenges, working alongside Product Managers and Designers to deliver technical solutions in collaboration with government agencies. The role requires hands‑on experience with full‑stack web development (preferably Next.js/React.js on the front end and Java/TypeScript/Node.js/Golang on the back end), SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with containerisation tools and observability platforms is also expected. Beyond technical skills, the team values engineers who take ownership of their work end‑to‑end, show initiative, collaborate openly, and are genuinely motivated by building technology for the public good.
