Software Development Manager - Responsibilities, Location: Concord, Canada (On-site).

Responsibilities

• Manage a software engineering team to design, implement, and maintain software for Sciex products, providing strong technical leadership and direction, supervising architectures, and developing technical roadmaps.
• Attract, recruit and retain top-notch talent and facilitate talent development through performance management and coaching.
• Staff and execute multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, with high quality, and that they meet customer needs.
• Create and support an innovative engineering culture focused on quality, technical collaboration, efficiency, ownership and accountability.
• Lead and support the team in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software development.
