Software Development Leader (SWDL)

Job Purpose: The Software Development Leader (SWDL) is responsible for all software aspects of a project within BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems, including planning, technical oversight, execution, software requirements, software integration, software configuration management and software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and drives the software team to achieve the project goals in terms of scope, timing and quality.
• Plans and tracks all software deliveries and related activities together with the software team members.
• Analyzes the sources of software requirements and identifies which requirements need to be implemented in the software.
• Assures that the Software project is run according to the valid development processes (Internal Process, ASPICE, ISO).
• Leads the software team and represents the software discipline towards the project team and the customer.
