ING is looking for a talented Software Backend Engineer to design, develop, and test software components across the backend stack of our digital banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test code for application components ensuring functionality, quality, and performance.
• Deliver production-ready software and document parameters to support reproducibility.
• Respond to production incidents, analyze and fix bugs.
• Contribute to technical discipline by collaborating with cross‑functional technical chapters.
• Add value to the backend layer while remaining aware of the rest of the technical stack.
• Maintain coding, stories refinement, environments management, release, and monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications – Essential

• Good coding skills on all middleware layers: Java 8/11/17/21.
