Software Automation Engineer (Xico)

Position Summary

This role is a Hybrid Automation Engineer based in Mexico City office in Reforma. The primary focus will be designing and maintaining automated end‑to‑end tests for the browser extension, ensuring automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling are robust and properly monitored.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated end‑to‑end tests for the browser extension using Playwright and other automation tools.
• Maintain automated tests, monitor for failures, investigate root causes, fix failing tests, and report bugs.
• Coordinate test creation from backlog with other Automation Engineers.
• Work with manual QA engineers and developers to understand use cases and edge cases needed for automation.
• Maintain CI/CD build pipelines in Azure DevOps and improve build, testing, and delivery processes.
