Job Description

The Mood and Anxiety Service is currently seeking a full‑time, temporary Social Worker 2 for a one‑year term. This multidisciplinary, team‑based program provides assessment and treatment services for individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, including psychiatric follow‑up, medication management, and structured, evidence‑based psychotherapy delivered primarily in a group format.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group‑based psychotherapy and coordinate care and selected individual clinical services for clients and family members.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, and allied health professionals to support client‑centred treatment planning and service delivery.
• Conduct behavioural observation, mental status assessment, and risk assessment within a group treatment context.
