About the Role
Speedy, the UK's leading hire provider, is seeking a Small Tools Fitter to join our Newport depot team. This is a key role within our operations, responsible for ensuring a wide range of mechanical and access equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for hire .
You will play a vital part in maintaining asset reliability, protecting customer safety, and supporting operational efficiency by ensuring only fully compliant, well‑maintained equipment leaves the depot.
Your Responsibilities
- Inspecting, testing, servicing and repairing mechanical and access equipment in line with LOLER, PUWER and Speedy standards.
- Carrying out pre‑hire and post‑hire inspections to ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
