Job Overview
The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes in accordance with established specifications and guidelines (quality, safety and environment) to achieve production targets. This is the basic level of operator role, performing basic operational processes with proficiency gained through training.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and machinery, including discharging, loading, transporting, cleaning, labeling and operating all equipment to ensure safe, effective and efficient production processes.
- Periodically inspect equipment and perform small maintenance tasks, and signal defects and deficiencies.
- When required, conduct minor repair work.
- Log data and information on production orders and activities in appropriate logbooks/systems to provide comprehensive administration and insight into the status and progress of orders.
