About the Role
Lead domestic transportation operations including milk runs, FTL/PTL/LTL movements, and multimodal logistics aligned with production schedules. Ensure JIT/JIS adherence and seamless line feeding through close coordination with plant logistics. Oversee cross-dock, consolidation hubs, and warehouse flows for optimal utilization and efficiency. Drive exception management, TAT adherence, POD compliance, and damage control through RCA and corrective actions. Manage EXIM operations end-to-end — customs clearance, documentation, freight coordination, and inland delivery. Optimize mode mix (air/ocean/LCL) balancing cost vs urgency.
