Simulation Engineer
Stavanger – Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is looking for a Simulation Engineer who will help us succeed in driving the energy industry toward a net‑zero future.
What you will be doing
- Build realistic realtime scenes in Unreal Engine 5
- Develop interactive simulations of offshore installations, vessels, and industrial systems
- Create cinematics and 3D animations with a focus on realtime visualization
- Work with lighting, materials, assets, level setup, and optimization
- Explore VR/immersive workflows and emerging visualization technologies
- Participate in workshops and demos with project teams and clients
- Help shape how Unreal Engine is used within the industry
- Maintain and develop internal CI/CD systems
- Oversee iPort deployment and simulator operations
