Signaling Engineer, Rail and Transit (Thornhill)

WSP is looking for an Intermediate Signaling Engineer to play a key technical role within the Rail & Transit team, helping shape safe, reliable, and innovative rail systems across Canada.

Reporting to the Manager of Rail Systems Engineering, you will collaborate with Chief Engineers, technical specialists, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex signaling solutions for commuter rail, subway, light rail, and heavy rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and analysis of rail signaling systems.
• Perform signaling calculations, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, and design packages for construction and implementation.
• Provide detailed technical checks of signaling and circuit designs produced by internal teams and third‑party consultants.
