Signal Technician

Under the direction of the Roads and Traffic Supervisor, the signal technician carries out electrical repairs and improvements at various City facilities and buildings. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, installation, and testing of all traffic control systems; for the efficient use and control of materials and equipment; and for ensuring work is performed in accordance with City Safety Policies and Procedures, Provincial Regulations, and Electrical Codes. The technician plans work and is responsible for acquiring materials to carry out the work.
Hours of Work: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
Environment: Unionized
Hourly Rate: $39.30 per hour
Duration: Permanent Full-Time
