Job Description
- Installation of siding, siding materials, exterior (architectural) panels, including aluminum composite metal (ACM) panels
- Installation of roof vents, flashing and other components to ensure water does not penetrate walls or cause damage to the structure
- Installing insulation and vapor barrier materials on exterior walls prior to installing siding materials
- Repair and service damaged siding, ACM panels, etc. on homes and businesses as needed
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Cut materials to length and to fit around windows and doors
- Locate and mark studs and joists in walls to ensure the siding is installed correctly
- Operate light metalworking machines
