We’re seeking experienced Face Shovel Operators to join our Mine Production team at Sino Iron. This role is offered on a 2/1 roster (days & nights), FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston.
If you want to operate some of the world’s largest hydraulic face shovels, this is the role for you.
You’ll be operating:
- CAT 6090 Hydraulic Face Shovels (1000t)
- Terex RH400 Hydraulic Face Shovels (1000t)
- Other large excavators (200t+)
About you
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Proven experience operating large hydraulic face shovels (400t+) and excavators (200t+)
- Current Australian driver’s licence (Preferably Manual)
- Restricted Quarry Manager and/ or First Aid certificate (highly desirable)
- Extensive knowledge of surface mining principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
