About the Role
Working within the Cougars Athletics and Recreation department, these are flexible positions whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week. These positions will end March 31, 2027.
The Shot Clock Operator is responsible for managing the 24-second shot clock during MRU Cougars basketball games. Working courtside with the official scoring crew, the operator ensures the shot clock is accurately started, stopped, and reset in accordance with FIBA rules and referee signals. This role is critical to the integrity of the game, as the shot clock directly affects offensive possessions and overall game flow.
