Introduction
This role is a highly client-facing position that involves regular on-the-road, face-to-face engagements with clients. The ideal candidate must be exceptionally client-centric, well-presented, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A deep understanding of short-term insurance—across both personal and commercial lines—is essential. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, the broker must be confident, solutions-driven, and able to provide expert guidance tailored to each client’s unique insurance needs.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Matriculation certificate
- RE5 certification
- Relevant NQF level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120 credits.
- Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines.
- Proven experience in handling both personal and commercial lines.
- Own vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
