Short Haul Driver – Job Overview
Responsible for safe, efficient, and timely transportation of metal materials between collection sites, recycling facilities, and client locations. The role is based out of Red Deer, AB.
Shift and Schedule
Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm with rotating Saturdays as required.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Skillfully handle and maneuver different types of vehicles and equipment during loading, transit, and unloading.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by SECURE and customer sites.
- Accurately position and secure waste bins, recording and tracking them using the provided system.
- Conduct inspections of transported materials to verify documentation and compliance.
